This detailed search walks you through the types of landuse we have in Texas and the monetary values associated with those landuses. Texas is a landuse based tax system. Each property is assessed by a local tax appraisal district for it's use and related value. There are two basic types of valuations on rural lands:
Market Value - value based on what the land would sell for on the open market
Agricultural Value - special value based on what the land can produce

Demographically, landowners in Texas are diverse in their characteristics. They vary in age, land tenure, size of ownerships, and various other characteristics. This data relates to the reporting based on each county.
